We are Swobbee.
Swobbee is a climate technology company from Berlin, Germany, founded in 2020. The idea behind it: charging batteries has to get safer and use fewer resources.
E-bikes, mopeds, scooters and cargo bikes lacked the right charging infrastructure. The founding team set out to change that, with experience in finance, battery technology and mobility.
Our mission
We want to improve life in cities with a global network of Swobbee Stations that anyone can use. Every form of mobility should get its electricity safely and efficiently, from small batteries for light electric vehicles to batteries for boats and small construction equipment. With charging that is more efficient and safe, we want to help make cities quieter and cleaner. Our guiding principle is to make the greatest possible positive impact.
Management
Our management team is made up of experienced specialists in developing and rolling out charging solutions. Together we keep improving our products and services so they are more convenient and reliable for our customers.
Ludwig Speidel
CFO
As Swobbee’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Ludwig is responsible for our finances as well as financial strategy and planning. A finance graduate, he is an expert in sustainable finance. He gained his experience in investment banking and accounting.
Thomas Duscha
CEO
Thomas is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Swobbee, and a mobility and tech enthusiast through and through. He studied business administration, has worked internationally, including in South Korea, and is an expert in the automation and industrialization of batteries and electric drivetrains.
Patrick Kniest
CTO
Patrick is the CTO of Swobbee. He rides every kind of electric vehicle, from kick scooters to electric cars, and that passion goes into development. As an experienced manager, he has led development teams in the automotive industry and in start-ups.
